How it works

The full walkthrough — template to finished document.

SkyDraft is a structured-document drafting tool, not a chat window. Here's every moving piece, in the order you'll actually meet them.

Templates

Define the shape once.

A SkyDraft template captures the structure of a document type: sections, sub-sections, guidelines for each one, and the required information your team always needs before drafting can begin.

Build one from scratch in a dedicated editor, or upload one of your existing documents and SkyDraft will extract the structure for you — sections, guidelines, brand voice, glossary, and a required-information checklist, all in one pass.

Templates support three section kinds: prose (free-form), tables (column-driven), and repeating sections (one drafted entry per item discovered from your sources — features, requirements, deliverables).

Workspace assets

Brand voice, glossary, and identity — once, then everywhere.

Three workspace-level assets anchor every generation: your brand voice (how you write), your glossary (the terms specific to your firm), and your company info (who SkyDraft is writing AS).

Set them once during setup and every future draft inherits them automatically. Update them and every subsequent draft picks up the change. No copy-pasting style guides into prompts.

Section-by-section drafting

Every section reviewed before the next begins.

Generation runs one section at a time. The AI sees the full document outline, every previously generated section, your sources, your required-information answers, and your workspace assets — then drafts the current section.

You review, edit, accept, or regenerate. Your edits become context for every following section, so your changes are honoured naturally instead of forgotten.

Selection-level revisions let you highlight a passage and ask for a targeted rewrite without regenerating the whole section.

Clarifications loop

The AI asks before it invents.

Every generated section ships with up to a few clarification questions — the things the AI noticed it didn't have a confident answer for. Review them as cards under the section.

Accept a clarification and your answer becomes a persistent tile in the document's notes panel. It threads into every subsequent generation. Dismiss it and it stays dismissed across regenerations.

The point: you catch ambiguities before they propagate across twenty pages.

Sources

Grounded in real material.

Upload meeting transcripts, briefs, RFP packs, prior proposals, supporting documents. SkyDraft consolidates them as cited context for every section — never fabricates facts.

Optional Microsoft Graph and Google Workspace connectors will pull material directly from your SharePoint and Drive folders (rolling out per workspace).

Generate all

Sequential drafting, end to end.

When you're confident in your template and sources, kick off a full document run with one click. SkyDraft chains through every pending section in document order — including auto-discovering items for repeating sections — and stops when there's nothing empty left to fill.

Stop at any step. Every section is independently regenerable and reviewable.
